Creative Strategist

You enjoy brainstorming ad angles and concepts, then bringing them to life

You love all things eCommerce and digital marketing. It’s a topic you geek out on…reading blogs, listening to podcasts & hunting down new strategies you can apply is fun for you
What you’ll be doing! 💻
Brainstorming ad angles and hook variations weekly, then sending content over to the editing team for production.
Develop creative strategy for new accounts by creating and maintaining a ‘Master’ client document.
Keeping a pulse on the industry to find out what’s working (and not working) for others, ad policy updates etc. Use this alongside your own ideation to inspire creative concepts.

Weekly Calls: We hold weekly check-ins with the creative teams as well as creative trainings twice every week. This is a chance to get the creative juices flowing and keep sharpening the knife. All calls are held between 2pm-6pm GMT on Mondays and Tuesdays.

You use Instagram/TikTok in your free time…sometimes you feel you spend a bit too much time on there - but at least you know the platform well!
What you’ll be doing! 💻
Day-to-day video editing of ECommerce ads for both Facebook and TikTok. Here’s some examples.
Working with the creative team to manage revisions of existing videos and conceptualizing new creative ideas.
Ensuring all videos are completed on time and to a high standard ready for launch.
Keeping a pulse on TikTok and paid ads to find out what’s working for others, what’s trending etc., and incorporate this into your videos.

What we’re looking for! 👀
Strong D2C and performance marketing background — ideally in creative strategy or media buying.
You know how to look at ad performance and explain why something is working.
You can turn messy data into clear, usable insights.
Comfortable with Meta/TikTok Ads Manager, analytics tools, and ad research platforms.
Comfortable and curious with AI tools, and confident using them to research, analyze, or automate.
Bonus: Copywriting skills (especially for helping write X/LinkedIn posts).
What you’ll be doing! 💻
Creative & Performance Insights: Review multiple client and competitor ad accounts to spot creative trends, winning formats, and performance patterns. Break down why certain creatives, offers, or angles are performing, backed by data.
Tool & Workflow Testing: Play around with new AI tools. Have fun experimenting to see what’s possible and how they could fit into our work. Make suggestions on which tools could be rolled out to the Adcrate team or turned into content pieces.
Content Fuel: Pull unique insights, examples, and data points Alex can turn into posts, videos, and newsletters. Provide screenshots, creative examples, and performance proof so content is backed by real-world results.
(Optional) Copywriting: If you’ve got the skills, draft first versions of posts or emails based on your research and findings.

Strong layout, typography, and visual hierarchy skills.
Comfortable working in design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.

Static Ads for Clients: Design performance-driven static ads for a variety of DTC brands. Adapt concepts across different formats, platforms, and aspect ratios. Work closely with strategists to bring winning hooks and offers to life visually.
Content Graphics for Alex’s Brand: Create high-converting YouTube thumbnails that grab attention and drive clicks. Design infographics, diagrams, and charts for X/LinkedIn posts. Produce supporting visuals for newsletters, landing pages, and giveaways.
Brand Consistency & Quality: Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines (both client and Adcrate). Maintain a high bar for visual quality and clarity. Stay up-to-date with visual trends in DTC advertising and content creation.
